Pre-Game Hospitality
Before the first puck dropped inside the rink at the Cotton Bowl® Stadium, QuintEvents guests enjoyed premium pre-game hospitality that included gourmet food selections, an open bar, interactive experiences and much more.
Meet-and-Greet with Brenden Morrow
Guests with an Official Ticket Package had the privilege of meeting former Dallas Stars captain Brenden Morrow.
Morrow was inside of QuintEvents’ pre-game hospitality and was available for photos and for fan questions about his exciting career that lasted almost two decades and included stints with the Stars, Pittsburgh Penguins, St. Louis Blues and Tampa Bay Lightning.
Game Recap
The main event of New Year’s Day lived up to the hype, giving the raucous crowd at the Cotton Bowl® Stadium one of the most entertaining Winter Classics in recent years.
Matt Duchene opened the scoring account for the Predators with a powerplay goal less than six minutes into the first period. Nashville kept the opening onslaught going with another powerplay goal, this time netted by Dante Fabbro just two minutes later.
With a home crowd pushing them on, with several Predators fans mixed throughout, the Stars bounced back in the second period, scoring with two minutes remaining before the final intermission.
Then in the third period, the Stars scored three times in the first seven minutes to take a 4-2 lead that they would hold on to. Alexander Radulov scored the go-ahead powerplay goal with just under 15 minutes remaining in the game to push the Stars goal tally to three.
Exclusive Access
On the Tuesday before the 2020 NHL Winter Classic® began, guests with the Ultimate Plus package enjoyed a private locker room visit inside of the Cotton Bowl® Stadium.
Following the conclusion of the game, guests with the Elite Plus, Ultimate or Ultimate Plus packages were given post-game field access for a photo op next to the rink.
